| Meguro River, Nakameguro Station, Tokyo -- this 7.82 kilometer river is completely lined with Cherry Blossoms and has beautiful lanterns lighting it up at night. It is one of the most famous spots to see Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo! |

| Ueno Park, Taito, Tokyo -- another park that's famous for its beauty during the Sakura or Cherry Blossom season. Despite the lengthy train ride it took to get there and the insane--and I mean insane number of people, it's always worth it to see such a beautiful view. |

| This 18-meter tall Gundam statue is located by the entrance of DiverCity Plaza located in Odaiba, Tokyo. DiverCity is definitely one of the best malls to go to for shopping, may it be clothes, shoes, sportswear, jewelry, make-up, or anything in between. (More information here) |

| Tokyo DisneySea, Urayasu, Chiba -- it is not a trip to Tokyo without visiting at least one of their Disney theme parks, right? My family and I decided to go to DisneySea to switch it up a little bit, and also because this particular theme park is unique to Japan. It consists of 7 "lands" of different themes, and has a total of 28 attractions. (More information about Tokyo DisneySea here) |

| Unfortunately, my family and I did not enjoy Tokyo DisneySea as much as we had expected to, mainly because it was jam-packed. Although we went on a weekday, all of the rides had a waiting time of at least 2 hours and a half, so we opted to watch the theatrical shows instead. The other downside was that all of the shows and parades were in Japanese, and there were no English subtitles or translations of anything, so we didn't really understand what we were watching. |
My Japan trip was definitely a check off of my bucketlist! Japan has so much to offer--shopping destinations, tourist spots, good food, its interesting culture and history, and everything else in between. If ever you feel doubtful about visiting the country, especially since it is a bit pricey to get there, I'd definitely recommend going for it. It's worth all the money, I promise!

| Shinsaibashisuji, Chuo Ward, Osaka -- a long street consisted entirely of shops and stores, ranging from the most common international clothing brands such as H&M and Zara, to the most uncommon and unique Japanese shops you'll ever find. As a fan of shopping, I definitely had to come back here several times because of its size and there's just something new every single time I come back! Dotonbori, Chuo Ward, Osaka -- connected to Shinsaibashisuji, this street is for the lover of food, which is probably why I love it here as well. You can find any type of Japanese food--sushi, ramen, katsu, takoyaki, crépes, and even Kobé beef here! The restaurants also do not close until around 10 in the evening, and some at 12 midnight, so it's a good place to go to whenever you're feeling hungry late at night. |

| My parents being adorable and all on the way to the Osaka Castle. I'd say it's a pretty long walk to be able to get to the castle itself, but being surrounded by the beautiful Cherry Blossoms definitely made up for it. |

| It was literally storming on the day we took a trip to the Osaka Castle and there was barely any shade, hence the (cute) umbrella and my horrible, sticky-looking hair. |

| MANNEKEN -- another sweet treat! These gorgeous waffles are definitely some of the best I've tasted, and my personal favorite is the chocolate-covered one. Give it a try! My trip to Osaka was quite a short one, but I can safely say that I've already done all of the shopping I needed, I've seen a lot and I've eaten as much as I could in those 3 days! There's so much to love about this city and the entirety of Japan, and I would love to come back very soon. Thank you Patricia Co for always taking wonderful photographs.  |
